When do you deliver?

At the minute we are doin a Valentine's mini cake test launch, so Friday 13th Feb only
Order before 12pm Wednesday 11th Feb and your cake will land on Friday – fresh, glossy, and ready to cause a scene.

Full launch will follow...

Where do you deliver to?

Anywhere in the UK (yes, that includes you, Shetland).
We don’t fit through letterboxes, someone better be in.

How long does the cake stay fresh?

Cakes are best eaten within 5 days of delivery – if you can wait that long.
Room temp is grand. Midnight snacking encouraged.

If cakes are stored in the fridge be prepared for the gloss to dull a little! Bring back to room temp before diggin in. Or if you're feeling extra spicey, microwave for a few seconds to create a truly indulgent melty gooey treat!

Do you offer gluten-free or vegan cake options?

Not quite yet — but we’re working on it. Like, properly working on it.

So hang tight — if you’re gluten-free, vegan, or just love options, something tasty is coming. Watch this space (or sign up to our mailing list for cake gossip).

Can I cancel my order? 

Changed your mind? No stress – just let us know at least 48 hours before dispatch (which is Wednesday morning for Friday delivery).

What if my cake arrives cracked?

Cracks happen – it’s a chocolate shell, not a brick wall. And honestly? A cheeky crack just makes it easier to sneak a bite before serving.
BUT – if it arrives looking more like a crime scene than a cake, drop us a message and we’ll sort something out. We’re sound like that.

Can I send it as a gift?

Absolutely. We don’t include any pricing in the box, and you can add a wee message at checkout. It's basically a party in a tube.

Can I amend my order or delivery day?

If you let us know before Wednesday at 12pm we will do our best to help. Once the baking is underway we can't stop it.

Deliveries are are currently set to Fridays only.

Can I return my order?

Hell no! We cannot accept any returns of perishable cake. If you have a concern please contact us and we'll do our best to help.

Some couriers allow the recipient to amend/delay their delivery date. As all our baked goods are made fresh to order, if you opt to change/delay your delivery date directly with the courier, we cannot accept any liability for freshness or perishability of your order.

Refunds & Replacements

We’re a small cake gang, not a soulless mega bakery – so if something’s gone wrong, we actually care.

If your cake shows up in a truly unacceptable state (we’re talking beyond the usual cheeky crack), or if it’s missing, late, or totally un-cake-like, email us: hello@cakeeightyseven.com
